Questions
How many sites is a portfolio?
There is no minimum that makes it worthwhile, but the value grows with the number, because the consistency and the single delivery matter more the more sites there are.
Can the sites be spread out?
Yes. Mobilisation is assessed and confirmed within the quotation rather than promised in advance, and a well-sequenced round is usually cheaper per site than the same sites booked separately.
Can we add sites later?
Yes. Once we have flown a site we hold the plan, so adding it to a later round or repeating it is quicker to set up.
What happens if the weather is wrong on the day?
We move it. Wind and rain make for unsafe flying and soft, unusable pictures, and a survey you cannot rely on is worse than no survey. We watch the forecast and give you as much notice as we can.
Is it legal to fly over my property?
Yes, within the rules. We hold a CAA Operational Authorisation and every flight is planned against the airspace, the surroundings and the people on and around the site before we attend. If a site needs a permission we cannot get, we tell you at enquiry rather than on the day.
